Evil Invaders

Evil Invaders was formed in 2007 by Johannes Van Audenhove, the band’s frontman, vocalist, and guitarist. After completing the line-up, the thrash metal band from Leopoldsburg were not dilly-dallying. In addition to strenuous rehearsals and first local gigs, which in the early days the band played plenty of, in 2009, the band self-released and distributed their only demo. The band’s speedy and melodic thrash with extensive arrangements came right on time for the renaissance of the old-school variants of the genre – which is why, their next release, the self-titled EP, was released via Empire Records.

The ever-evolving Belgian band had conquered the hearts of young thrash metal fans and during their European travels, the band could count on being greeted by imposing crowds no matter which country they were performing in. Taking this into account, the band’s debut album, “Pulses of Pleasure” released via Napalm Records, cemented the band’s reputation in the to-ing and fro-ing New Wave of Thrash Metal. Most young bands that emerged therein quickly faltered, producing rather short-term careers, but Evil Invaders are still going strong. They still have loyal supporters; they still play a refined, yet raw thrash and they continue to evolve. The band’s latest record is “Shattering Reflection” from 2022.
