Ditz

Ditz is one of those bands that took their time and instead of attacking straight from the gate with a debut album, they roved the dark waters of the underground circuit, gaining experience and honing their songwriting craft. The band was formed in 2015 and twelve months later, they released their debut EP. From then on, they dropped an array of singles, with “Gayboy” and “Role Model” piquing the interest of alternative rock media and listeners. It was evident from the very beginning that the Brighton band was exploring a much louder and more impulsive offspring of post-punk than their peers – a fact that helped them stand out.

During the 2020 pandemic, the Brits released another well-received EP 5 Songs and in 2022, after years spent maturing and perfecting their craft, they finally released their debut full-length album, “The Great Regression”. Thereafter everything fell into place. The single “Ded Würst” was regularly played on the legendary BBC 6 radio and the rest of the album didn’t disappoint either. The band’s most recent release is the live album “On the Bai’ou” from 2023. In 2024, the band hit the road and among others, joined the early punk rock superstars Idles on their European tour.
